@Gwaihir, please don't take my response personal. I respect your comments and appreciate your 30 years of experience. But I will argue against them if I believe them to be wrong. Hotcopper is all about having an open ended discussion. Your answers may be correct. But I am attempting to offer a reasonable counter argument.

I do fully disagree with what you were implying, that nifty has failed, and that they're hedging their bets elsewhere.. Or at least, that's how your post came across to me. But there's no need to go off on a personal tangent.
