Does anyone believe that the problem with the broader market waking up to the value in BRK is the confusing business model. I work on a frac crew here in Aus, and admittedly even after reading Dans posts, i still am left scratching my head and a little confused as to the actual way we are supposed to make big money. It seems all quite complex, with proven reserves, undeveloped reserves, de risked/risked, pooling of AOI, etc etc.
I get the general concept, drill wells, tap into the resource, which makes the acreage worth more, then sell of the land. But, the numbers and nitty gritty of it seems harder to value then say, a business who has a model of profit purely by production numbers. And maybe this is why we have been so overlooked? Any thoughts?
