I have been invested in WBC for 2yrs now as a retiree trying to survive on investment dividends. I am looking for thoughts from more knowledgeable holders than yours truly in relation to the Westpac share buyback. My last purchases were on 1/11/2021 573 at $24.33 and a further purchase of 619 at $24.00 as they plunged. The sp is now $23.15. If anyone is able to impart any knowledge as to whether an advantage can be gained with the WBC buyback, it would be much appreciated. I pay no tax at present on any dividends earned.
