The q needs to be based on the cost of living. For example when I left Dk I was being taced at 65 %, then we had to pay GST at 20 % then the rent and prive of food and the heating bill. SO on the face of it I was earning a great salary but not afte all the various taxes.

Nowadays young people cannot get a reaonable house for under $400 k, just 12 years ago a good house in Brisbane witha good location and its was about $150k !

I reckon in Brisbane $150 k for the family is OK but not luxury. Depends on what debts you have. Certainly $250 k per year or more and you should be lauging (in Brisbane)
