What a stupid questions!

Your friend is either an idiot or has no idea what people under him earns (which means he is an idiot anyway) I am surprises you received so many genuine answers.

That question does not consider which profession, which city you live in, but really, come on........
My best friend is very high up in a very well known org and I work for a NSW public service org. We have known each other since we were about 15 yrs old (scary). He is a great bloke (greatest I have known and I love him dearly) but money is nevery discussed, ever. And that is the way it should be. I am happy for his success and vice versa.........end of story! What is a good wage - well lets put it in perspective becaue a lot of people work a hell of a lot of hours for what they earn, and good on them.
