Thanks for that post. I knew about the $900mil writedown and i saw the $7bil and 13% mentioned, but i never clicked that 13% of $7bil = $900mil. it makes a bit more sense now.

still not quite sure how BAM would come up with $7bil to buy all those assets, and not sure what impact it will have on BBI. it would clear all the asset level debt but leave no assets.

its the strangest management ive seen in awhile, and the silence is deafening.
