Well it is well known myth tradition, if you are executive with large number of share holding, you gotta sell a lot at bottom before seeing your share rally. I dont know why. If it is a myth, why it is happening many times? Maybe there is no deal with market maker, just their financial advisor took some tax strategy. What i noticed, those share might be just awarded, rather than purchased with their after tax salary.
I think rather than worry about the tiny number, recent published westpac pack might be better to look at. You know, price is like fish price in fish market. Everyone speaks louder to bargain the fish, sometimes they bring their own fantasy and forecast of tomorrow sea weather. If the fish market has no visitor we may have problem, but the westpac number seems to tell otherwise. Let the price goes wild like crazy stock market sentiment and drunken players, at least we see the fish continuously being transacted normally at minimum flat volume in real world.
