Obviously Lynas is not the company for you. Go and buy CBA or some other blue chip which may rain down dividends and share buybacks upon you. Lynas is a growth story - no dividends or share buy backs as they use all the capital to hand for growing the business and though that growth hopefully deliver an increase in the share price but that is in the hands of "the market", not the board.

Without a social licence to operate, especially in Malaysia, Lynas is likely to have already disappeared. It is though the care and attention to its workers and their wider community that we have a wonderful workforce that have helped Lynas repel the efforts of the anti forces. I am very proud that Lynas (and Orecobre in which I am also heavily invested) do so much for the communities in which they operate.

Also remember that buying shares in the market is not providing the company with capital; that only happens when you stump up for a capital raising or invest at the ipo.
