If wind turbines are biodegradable, recyclable, manufactured ethically fair trade, all elements made and mined with 100 percent natural organic products, all waste reused, clean energy producing, non environmentally heating, then this may be Green enough for the "greenies" .

However, infastructore as noted above is going to decay as landfill, profit generating refuse, bird killing, poison leaching, stuff, so, it's an environmentally difficult choice to say wind turbines are "The Solution".

Although an excellent source of energy where applicable for utilization as a main grid alternative power source.

Nuclear is the best. IMO.

Possibly dehydrated air conditions from loss of jungles and forests depleting cloud moisture retention, maybe nuclear power steam will give the air rehydrating water molecules to help arid areas rain again?
