    yes you are right, sorry i should have been clearer. when I said zip is a cheaper option than CC I was referring to when fees are applied after interest free periods (fee free periods)

    worth noting is payment cycles. CC rotation of payment cycles is similar to zip. IE the closer you are to you payment due date when making a purchase the less interest free days/fee free days (pay later) you have before making a payment to avoid fees. you can have the benifit of pay later for as little as 1 day. afterpay on the other hand has each and every purchases on its own individual pay cycle so it does not mater when you make the purchases you still get its full "pay later" benifit.

    obvious you can pay bnpl using CC to extend interest free periods, but getting max value from this unlikey as timing purchases and 2 payments cycles perfectly is unlikely.
