there has to be a reason for the secrecy, and fact HGST /IMEc are still on board , maybe an informal gentlemen agreement if technical succeed then will be sold/licensed to WD. they don’t promote themselves like WBT or BRN ,if they did and were more open you would have expected the SP to be 50c plus
i just keep going back to the secrecy and there must be a reason , if it was a lame duck there would be no continuing involment by HGST IMEC
