i think the numbers you posted showed .14% of the shares were shorted. not even a quarter od a percent. people cant short good shares because there are always more buyers and shorting to push a share down is not done the way you think. there are rules around shorting. you cant just dump it. and if the shorters were out in force their numbers would be increasing and the price would be different. the fact that the prixe has not jumped is futher proof. and ive been investing for many yeras in sharss warrants options etc but i have never shorted because i dont even know one broker that offers it. its only the big boys who do it. prior to the drop i had 600 wbc, but i bought 400 more in tbe name of A zero tax payer to maybe sell into ths buyback. hopefully the price goes up or stays steady but the shorters are not to blame.
