The energy transition plays a key role on the path to climate neutrality. The state government has therefore decided to set up a task force to accelerate the expansion of renewable energies. It should cut the planning and approval process at least in half.
A task force is to decisively advance the expansion of renewable energies in Baden-Württemberg. The Council of Ministers decided to set them up and shape them. Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann emphasized: “Baden-Württemberg has changed its climate protection lawset the goal of achieving climate neutrality with net zero emissions by 2040 at the latest.

"It is important to me that the task force also receives input from outside the state administration for this ambitious task. That is why it is advised and supported by external experts, ”says Kretschmann.
