Regarding future rejuvenation use it appears the "golden goose" telomerase opportunity with anti ageing cosmetic opportunity proof of concept study (which was never guaranteed but would be a huge potential market) is actually working.
From the conference call this morning quoting CEO Mike Perry: “ And rejuvenation where we are using RNA telomerase….we believe to be are almost there….we are getting telomerase into the skin cells, and if that comes through it’s a multibillion dollar opportunity”
They went on to say they if/when it worked out would start with a medical indication first to get safety data (example given was solar) and then move into rejuvenation/cosmetic use. The example set was the company Allergan who did similar with Botox. Erin Liberto previously headed up marketing at Allergan for Botox - now she is the CCO for Avita Medical so they have the expertise to get this going.
This is the second last question on the 51minute presentation available on their website and to me the most exciting part and definitely worth a listen. This proof of concept due before Dec 31 2021.
