IM3 is using CV4's existing technology, which is commercial approved at small scale. it's not the most advanced battery technology in the world. but that's the beauty of it. If they say they are going to produce solid state battery. there will be lot of doubts of it and highly risky.
But the way IM3 starts the business is very conservative which is safe for our investors, Plus they have R&D support from the nearby University etc. IM3 have been in this field for over 10 years. it's not like some ASX company see the of opportunity Climate Urgency, they swiftly change their runway to buy a lithium mine or hydrogen project.
The Announcement today is very exciting. it will make IM3 have the access to GM, Ford, Stellantis
Base on the track record and the strategy, I believe they will make their way up to 32Gwh with solid state battery.
