I agree.
I have stated in previous discussions that Government would be in no hurry to implement a subsidy.
I also said a road usage tax will occur to offset some of the fuel excise lost.
I also said that the EV revolution will be slower than many here believe/hope will happen. A number of reasons.
ICE cars will be on our roads for 20 plus more years.
The used car market is much bigger than new car market.
Calls for EV subsidies are growing, people vote..
Subsidies are likely to occur.
