Hey Yankee Doodle, I’ve been researching Mexico and you’re a bit closer than me/us! Lol.

A survey done in 2020 out of 4 million households Shows 68% own them. ( countries pop 128.9 mill as of 2020)
The cheapest interest rate going was 7.99%. With 1.3 million peso’s the average price in 2021, for a 15% rise since 2020.

In 2020 almost 495,000 mortgage loans were granted, which was the lowest the country has seen in 15 years.( I understand , it could be the effects of Rona)

Given it’s the 9 th largest economy in the world and 13th largest in size. , 5000 homes seems like a lot ( to me), but given they have a population almost 5 times the size off Australia this could be the start off something big? Do you have any idea about the current Mexican economy? Have you visited?
