France is a stunning country - totally disregard what the bonehead brigade say on here.

I'd be sure that where your friends have been mostly is very beautiful - I've not been there yet - but, I see the pics on google maps - and it looks amazing -sort of similar to here - but, I can tell it's different. I've put a heap of little videos up on 'too tall' in Lifestyle - can't guarantee my cinemaphotography skills though.


15 years is a long time for your friends to be here - and, then leave - I'm certainly in no hurry to leave here for anywhere.

I have no interest in the Marseille area, nor Paris - although I might try Paris again one day. For the rest - well, I love Burgundy and I am totally in love with Chamonix Mont Blanc

there - that's my dying place if I can arrange it.

This is about my 20th month in Fr. roughly and about 2 years away from Oz this time - ish - lose track of time and have to go look at the dates on the pics..

It is absolutely no wonder at all why Aussies love this place. I remember seeing what a digger wrote in WW1 - I think his message or letter was in the Sir John Monash Centre - somewhere like that - he said something like -
'before I came here I never thought that anywhere would really be worth fighting for, but, now that I've seen this, I can see why so many want to fight for it, so many want to take it and are prepared to die for it' ----------------something like that
