It does not say much that is novel to folk who follow CCP, but it is publicity. I am more optimistic on the ANZ purchasing of PDLs than some brokers that FNArena relies on for opinion. My optimism springs from the belief that in ANZ: supply will improve as banks reduce forbearance; competitors are weak; and by its behaviour towards suppliers and their charged-off debtors, CCP has shown that it does not abuse its near-monopsony in ANZ.
