it’s hard to sugar coat news as bad as they have given which in essence says: we have no idea if the product we are trying to make will work and no idea if at all when we work out what the specs of it are, whether it will ever have a saleable market. That is their announcement to in a nutshell.
no other way to spin it. Anyone that thinks this was not carefully thought out to try and avoid liabilities has rocks in their head imo
