Regarding the pilot plant costs Jukes - the HTM Wilson report on Geothermals (don't have a URL to hand - I looked at a saved copy of the PDF - let me know if you don't have it) comments:

The power plant at the surface for both HSA and EGS is very similar. We understand the capital cost of binary power plants to be relatively standard at approximately US$2M/MW.

Interesting on several counts:
- "relatively standard" costs sounds like this is all derisked off-the-shelf technology;
- I'd have thought a binary thermal power plant was quite a bit more complex than a Pelton turbine, so the HTM numbers should provide a valid upper limit for the power plant cost of about A$13M (including switchgear I assume);
- This suggests that manufacture and installation of each of the CETO III units weighs in at over A$750K - does that sound about right? Seems a bit exy but I suppose its possible.
