100%.
We've had tree shakes in the past.
This last year, it's almost like the shorters have been constantly shaking it, almost to try and recoup their losses during last Xmas' squeeze.
The shaking is relentless. The problem is they shook out the weak hands early. But at a cost of now requiring more and more shares to cover. So they'll need to find a source for those shares, and it's the stronger hands that remain.
The end game for them is essentially them acquiring 50m shares at these prices. I'm guessing they're holding out for either stronger hands to finally give up, or for us to be pushed out of ASX 200 and certain funds needing to sell.
Either way, look at the company, not the share price. The products, the studies, the growth through covid, the demand, the profit margins.
Those are things the shorters can't change. All they can change is the share price, and it's not cheap for them to do that.
