The fact that they are bringing forward another crack at Glen Eva, testing the depth, as opposed to focussing that priority drilling on Yandan, Twin Hills or their many other targets tells me that Steve Nano and Brent Cook are very excited about these results. With GBM you need to read between the lines with their announcements - for example they telegraphed their Yandan acquisition months beforehand but it was only clear to me in hindsight.

Pajingo Vera South was a case of third time lucky - will that be the case with Glen Eva as well?

To quote my previous thoughts on Glen Eva, which I still believe:

Summary - Vera south at Pajingo. The first two drill campaigns, of similar scale to what GBM is doing here, returned mixed results - not too dissimilar to the 2020 drill campaign at Glen Eva. But they persisted and using the geological information gained hit absolute monster grades on the third campaign, such as 13 m @ 69 g/t, ultimately delineating a 889 koz resource at 14.1 g/t within two years.

The shallower narrow hits were in the early campaigns. Where the vein really widens was only discovered on the third campaign after much reintepretation of the geo data and updating to their modelling. Exactly what GBM are going through right now with Brent Cook and Stephen Nano providing their expertise.

Yes Big Poppa, a good reminder!. For example a 200 x 200 m window at 10m wide and 15 g/t Au = ~500,000 oz Au

Also another example is the Epithermal System at Cracow (QLD) that Aeris now own.
When Newcrest found the Royal Shoot it took some time, see the average grades of some widely spaced holes, then a couple of better hits and the vectoring in, almost like playing "battleship" ! but with some smarter geo's.
