I ignore most valuations too, but I like to see what info they come out with

one of the reasons why I ignore them is the vast disparity between the valuations of different fund managers etc

eg commsec has for EVN:

4 strong buys, 8 holds, 1 moderate sell, 3 strong sells

for gods sake is it really that difficult that you have pretty much equal numbers of groups on the opposite end of the spectrum

of course if a particular fundy has a history of good valuations on a particular stock then I’m more interested
