It seems to me that someone has more money than sense and likes to play games. Another game I've noticed many times is there might be a buyer at the top of the queue wanting a small parcel of shares, the next in line might be after a very much larger parcel. So an offer to sell the same amount of shares as the small bid +1 will pop up. Leaving the prospective buyer of the large parcel with 1 share and wondering if the remainder of the order will be filled. Happens too many times to be a coincidence.
