    This is perhaps the most complex question anyone could ask so I will only give you some points to play with but to do justice to the differential between these two semiconductors needs months of detailed research.

    1. Loihi 1 & 2 are research chips with variously stated time lines by Intel before they might be commercialised of 3 to 5 years. They also according to Intel may stay research chips.

    2. AKD1000 is a commercially released chip on sale now. AKIDA is also on sale as IP for inclusion in your own chip.

    3. AKIDA technology is processor and sensor agnostic.

    4. Loihi 1 & 2 have not commented on whether they are processor and sensor agnostic

    5. AKD1000 is $US15.00 cheaper for bulk purchases.

    6. Loihi 1 & 2 have had various prices predicted from $US80.00 and up but are research so no real data.

    7. AKIDA technology IP is infinitely scalable. The AKD1000 chip is enormously powerful running 1,2 million neurons and 10 billion synapse. The neural mesh is made up of 20 nodes. You can if you desire purchase and use a 1 node IP licence and this will allow you to do most edge processes but the latency will increase depending upon the complexity of what you require. AKD1000 for convenience is designed so you can link 64 AKD1000 to perform extremely complex and demanding functions.

    8. Loihi 1 & 2 do not offer IP licences so we do not know whether they can do this. They also do not have anywhere near the neuron and synapse count of AKD1000.

    9. AKIDA technology has solved the holy grail of Ai and can learn from one shot on chip and add new classes and also learns incrementally improving its performance over time.

    10. AKIDA technology functions at milli watts and uni watts of power and produces so little heat it does not require any form of external cooling.

    11. Finally if you are a data scientist and I sent you a Loihi 1 or 2 chip to play with it would be useless to you until you attended one of the Intel funded university degree courses in how to use and train them as they have their own specialised language.

    12. AKIDA is accessible to everyone on the planet because it has been designed compatible with Tensor Flow. You don't even need to be a data scientist. Brainchip makes its Meta TF available free to all comers.

    13. AKIDA comes with its own software already and is the complete package.

    14. LAVA is as system to encourage developers to create software that might work with Loihi 1 & 2 if it ever is commercialised.

    There that is off the top of my head and I know I have missed somethings out but it should give you a lead into your researching however unless you are a very fast reader you might miss out on the opportunity that presently exists. But you should definitely DYOR before investing.
