IMO you can pay in multiple amounts. Many daily banking eft limits will require this anyway.
the company will have $x on hand from you at closing date and then take that to mean you have applied for the shortfall if those dollars exceed your entitlement.
only risks are that the company allocates the shortfall based on the time of application
probably not a big risk at the moment. If the SP is say 26+ cents by 29/11 the shortfall will likely be a lot lower so last minute shortfall applications might be many and not considered.
