pear,
Good to see you back after all these years.
There is an obvious lack of flow of information from bioglobal to CNN and then to the market , but you have made some errors in your post.
Firstly they have not been snubbed in Australia, they still have market dominance / saturation with 2.5 to 3 mill in sales per annum and that is the market size here.
They have supplied there own strip this year for the first time which is significant for many reasons. Firstly they do not depend on supply from Shin etsu , they make a greater margin and are independant and can produce in China for chinese market. Their margins have gone up significantly.( These are the pheromone products)
Secondly they have successfully completed 2 year trials in South Africa for Bio attract and await registration for sales to commence thru their disptributer Tsunami.
Thirdly , They have now completed the required two year trials in China for Pheromones and subject to registration could be selling next season in a market that is 150 times larger than australia for crop coverage. There is no other competitor in this market for this product , so could be massive.
The only reason there are no profits is that they have spent the money very wisely in achieving what they have in other markets , that we ultimately catpult them into large profits when those come into line. The only negative about bioglobal is the lack of information thru CNN about their achievements. However if you read the annual report they are all but saying that sales in china are imminent.
Cheers Pear.
