HIO's ore is soft, nothing like the super hard stuff at Iron Bridge. Possibly just scooped out of the ground then dumped on a conveyer with processed waste returning the same way. Then the refined slurry goes by pipeline to Silver City.
The article regarding Calix was very interesting though, they are a great company and sleeping giant. You can bet their new process works best with high grade clean Hio grade ores.
