Orca Exploration Group is an international oil and gas exploration and production company with operations primarily focused in Tanzania, located on the east coast of Africa. Orca produces and markets natural gas from Songo Songo Island, which is located about 15 kilometres offshore of Tanzania. The Songo Songo natural gas field is large, with estimated recoverable net 2P reserves of 474 bcf . In Q4/08, the Songo Songo natural gas plant was re- rated from 70 mmcf/d to 90 mmcf/d. After additional inspections that were completed in Q2/09, Lloyds Register has indicated that it will agree to certify the plant to operate at 110 mmcf/d. Testing of the facilities designed to demonstrate the plant can safely operate at the higher level continues and re-certification to 110 mmcf/d is expected later this year . At 110 mmcf/d of processing capacity, Orca expects to have ample capacity to meet natural gas demand until 2011/2012. We expect production to steadily increase during 2009 and 2010 as demand primarily from the industrial market is expected to continue to grow.
