Yesterday I was catching up reading all the articles in the Weekend Australian when I came across an article written by James Kirby the likeable Irishman that is often on ABC TV. The article on page 20 is is headed "Is there another Tesla out there". James Kirby goes on to mention an analyst called Kingsley Jones of "Jevons Global" who has covers battery materials and has had great success in picking Chalice at an early stage of development. Chalice of course jumped 30% recently after yet more great news.
James Kirby goes on to say "for the record the rest of the EV - related stocks on "Jones List" were Ionic Rare Earths, Oz Minerals and lithium company Lake Resources"

Now many readers would just skim through such an article but found it very reassuring to see that an analyst specialising in battery materials has IXR, a relative minnow exploration/mining company on their recommendation list amongst some major exploration and mining companies.

As many already know it can take a long time for new world metals like lithium, cobalt etc to gain a deep level of understanding within the investment community. Lithium took several years but is now well understood. I have no doubt that the importance of rare earths is in the early stages of being understood but with the importance of batteries becoming so well understood, I think that the time line for rare earths to be fully understood will be less than half that of lithium.

Last night I went back and reread a reply to me from Setfire2the hive which I will repost shortly in another post. This was a truly great and informative post and Setfire2thehive can barely hide his excitement in the future of IXR. I think we are onto a hugely important company that one day will be a very important supplier of critical rare earths to the world.
Todays uptick in SP of IXR is hardly surprising but IMHO it is over due.
