May be fairly simplified but it actually wouldn't be that difficult for them to launch a native token that allows people to hold and earn in order to enter different events and be rewarded etc. The native token could be transferrable and used with whichever tournament is underway or whichever large company is "hosting" it.
Good bit of continuity between tournaments, a bit of brand recognition for Mogul, and repeat visitors/players.
