Everybody is waiting for the new Mobvoi/Cardiex smartwatch release and obviously there is a delay of the launch. The original launch was expected already 6 month ago.
So...what happened and why we are still waiting for the launch?
I was in communication with CDX and clearly the worldwide microchip shortage was the problem of the delay. This is a problem which all of the wearable device makers were facing..Apple,Fiitbit, Garmin, Samsung and Mobvoi....pretty much all of them. Most of all microchips are produced in China and will stay in China to boost the chinese electronic industry. Mobvoi and other chinese companies will have the advantage of getting microchips for their devices. The close connections Cardiex built with the greater chinese market, plays out in our favour......
View attachment 3803150Around the 18th October this year Mobvoi contacted Cardiex to inform them, that the launch will be imminent. Obviously Mobvoi got the chip shortage sorted and are ready to launch very soon.
