Brokers will use any excuse to get more trades through the door.
I bet the broker gave the guy 2 tips that he should be buying, which would be 2 dog stocks his own mate is trying to offload.
Oh well, there goes the $30k!
It still makes me laugh why people ask brokers for advice.
