Okay stuverine.....so what is going on.
I have had a look at the Nations Petroleum website and yes there has been quite a few changes in what is presented there.
The most obvious thing is the loss of the section about the "project inventory" which listed the 17 projects that they were encouraging expressions of interest in.
Yep they were to close about the end of August I think with offers to be in by mid September (or something like that)
So I guess they would be removed from the site pending the final decisions and signing of agreements on who is to be involved with what.
Yes and it looks as though the 3 Kreyenhagen prospects have not attracted sufficient interest and are still listed seeking interest.
So what is happening with the rest ?
Are we going to see some announcements coming out in the coming weeks about some intended action on those ??????
THe other interesting thing I found was the section about the Brunei prospect. Again expressions of interests to be involved are invited. It is to be sorted out by early November. And there is anywhere up to 50% involved. Now I cannot really see Nations giving up the full 50% it has in Block L but I could contemplate Nations with 40% and QPN (say) with 10%.
Some interesting suggestions as to size of possible targets. Drilling to happen early 2010.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Definitely attractive !!!!!!!!!!
