Don't forget the asset sales have built up the war chest for future acquisitions. When they are announced we can expect some gyrations in price. Typically they are downwards initially but when the market digests the news and appreciates the benefits a rerating and price upturn often follows. Of course it all depends on the merits of the acquisition but Hart is a smart operator and I think he can pull it off. The current price reflects his decisions about the GMF takeover.
