There is also a massive assumption being made here that the new CEO has always been looking to get into the CEO role come hell or high water. Perhaps it is worth considering that he has been quite happy not being in that role up until now and sees now as right time to have a go at being CEO in a company that has a disruptive product. A role that could be made a little easier by having a product that can play a significant role in edge Ai.
It's likely in my opinion that this won't be his last role. Could be a pivotal one for him though.
