I fully understand however we now live in a very competitive environment where market prices for internationally traded materials are dictated by supply & demand rather than just input costs. That does make it difficult for domestic endusers who are now exposed to the global competition. As I said previously customers have themselves to blame to a degree as in the low global price period they have forced the likes of BSL to be internationally competitive by buying imports rather than using locally produced material. The shoe in now on the other foot and imports are not available and global prices are at record levels.
As a shareholder (I note you are not) the current prices are just payback for depressed prices in the past. If the prices are too high you and others will stop buying the product and BSL will be forced to reduce their prices.
