Hello again @3steps. Last week you mentioned potential demand for perovskites within the UAE. At the beginning of this thread, I had posted "More on the possible 'cutting-edge solar options' (p. 7) in another post. Management have been dropping hints on this for a couple of years." Apologies to all it's taken me a month to get to this. Here goes:

    • In our Chair's and Managing Director's Letter in our Annual Report, we are told "In addition, cutting-edge solar options are being evaluated for both the Karibib and Abu Dhabi sites to provide off-grid renewable power."
    • In our 21 October 2019 announcement High Specification Caesium-Rubidium Formate Produced, management inform that "Work is ongoing to produce other caesium and rubidium compounds that have potential application in the oil and gas industry, as well as in the manufacture of perovskite-containing solar cells.”
    • From page 22 of Shaw and Partner's 20 July 2021 Initiation Report: "An emerging use for both caesium and rubidium is in perovskite solar cells which appear to be at the early stage of commercialisation, with Polish company, Saule Technologies, leading the charge."

    https://sauletech.com/about/

Saule Technologies develops inkjet-printed, ultra-thin, and flexible solar cells based on perovskites.

Based in Poland, they claim to be "the first company in the world to commercialise perovskite solar cells." Their founder invented the revolutionary method as a uni student in 2013. A young, dynamic team, which appear to be on-the-go, as their website sports new content since July. For any who haven't seen it already, please go check out it out and watch the 3 minute video on their home page. It's an exciting new world we're stepping into and Lepidico will be able to provide the ingredients necessary to bring these changes about. Is Saule Technologies perhaps another of our caesium/rubidium customers?

Ahh, googling just now whether it's Cs or Rb which is used in perovskites, a string of abstracts come up mentioning potassium too. Are "ternary Cs-Rb-K compounds" needed? I'll put some more time into this later, but I'm sorry, I've got to dash now. Enjoy Saule's website, everyone.
