Yep he lied ! But ... was a very very poor and unfair system ! Anthony Green described it as easily the worst in Australia and he's about as close to neutral as you are likely to find . Is there something special about country people that their vote counts up to 8 times a city voer ? Is there something wrong with one vote one value ?
Yeah he lied ...but if the end ever justified the means .....
