MNS was paused trading (instead of a trading halt) at 09:48am before the market opens and followed by a TH in 1.5 hours. An announcement was released 3 hours later.
As the announcement was drafted with 1 page only with a clear response to the article. My reading on this is MNS was aware on the article first thing in the morning and prepared to response it straightaway without doubt. However there is no way ASX would approve the submitted announcement with fact checking with ASIC. So ASX put pause in trading and asked MNS to prepare a TH until they received the clearance from ASIC. Then at 2pm the respondents was approved to be announced. It tells me that..
1) There was no investigation on MNS or MNS related party ever happened which confirmed by ASIC and ASX
2) MNS was confident on the response which has submitted to ASX first thing in the morning (doesn't need to take a day or two trying to hide anything)
Just my thoughts..
