So as i understand it a JV would likely NOT involve any kind of share split or consolidation, moreso both entities keep trading under their own banner and their share prices become positively correlated to a degree. As a shareholder i personally love this because it keeps the VMY shares trading and gives shareholders the potential to be involved with long term growth as opposed to a takeover which is more of a 1 night stand.

I love this news and from here we can expect a Trading Halt in the coming months with a huge JV announcement by the looks of it.

I bet VMY had feedback from the State Govt they needed some heavy hitters to green light this project.
