There has been mention of a move into copper.
Interestingly, Soul Pattersons has withdrawn the IPO of their copper asset (see NHC Chairman connection for newbies).
Robert Millner has bought extensively on market and a mention from him on "diversification" in his Chairman's Address:
From the CEO today - "several initiatives underway"
With a very low mix of assets and so much cash - let alone cash generation - I can't help but think they will buy something outside of coal.
Perhaps the market will view NHC more favourably if this is done. Who knows..
