This is the first thing that looks like proper exploration geology and geochemistry that has come out of LNY since I have been following it, dragging 47K pulps out of sheds and XRFing them is great but I would have like to have seen at least a tease of this multi element metal zonation on a map or a cross section. I think the only issue is that the drilling is of such a limited extent that the zonation model might be a bit arm-wavy further out from the mining lease.

If Beams and Morrison have done it for determining multi element zonation patterns for Au, As, Pb, Zn, Cu, Mo, W and they really are flat lying then this could be very good news for long suffering shareholders. Not enough brecciation seen yet compared to Mungana/Mt Wright but Beams and Morrison suggest drilling there then I am all for it, because not many people within LNY have suggested any decent drill targets for years and Beams and Morrison have suggested banging a few deep holes along strike and down plunge below the pit so good luck to them. The only fly in the ointment that I can see is the status of the fossicking reserve that overlaps with some of the highest potential ground.

Am I right in this is one of the first things that Brad Gordon would have done since taking over the reins and is one of the first public utterences by him on behalf of LNY? Even if he just talked the rest of the board into resourcing this job and bringing in Beams and Morrison to do the study with Scott Hall then thats a job well done.

It would be ironic that one of the least respected junior explorers that is often the butt of many jokes, ends up potentially making a big discovery up there in NE QLD. Stranger things have happened.
