re: warrant query Hi Maxwellreid ... the answer here is a bit murky ... and probably depends who you are.
If a Warrant Issuer makes a mistake (such as BHPWSK) you will probably get a call from your Broker trying to coerce you into cancelling the trade. It will be at this point that you realise your Broker is not working for you.
You are entitled to hold your ground. The ASX has rules concerning Trading Errors and relies heavily on mutual agreement as the preferred settlement of disputes.
Try getting an Issuer to agree to cancelling such a trade .... yeah and pigs fly !!!
Sooo ... The ASX rules do say along the lines of that traded prices should reflect prevailing market prices and that market participants should not seek windfall profits from trading which is not fair and orderly.
As a last resort there is an ASX Dispute Committee for resolution of a disputes.
