update on the sale of nsw lotteries

By now expressions of interest should have been lodged by the interested parties relating to the sale of the NSW Lotteries business (by the NSW Government).

The contenders are expected to be Tatts Group Ltd (TTS), Tabcorp (TAH) including a newsagents group, Intralot a greek company, and G-Tech a subsidiary of Lottomania apparently the world's biggest lotto firm.

Apparently the outcome of the sale of the NSW Lotteries business will be known in early 2010.
