Something that has bothered for a while is our off take situation.
Not so much bothered, it's probably the wrong choice of word. More that something is missing. Something doesn't add up.
And my basis for this is that other future lithium producers that I hold are basically sold out. They are planning to produce 2024, 2025 and beyond, 3 to 4 plus years away... Sayonas production is scheduled in less than 18 months, could be as short as 15 months, and still only the pll deal for 50 exists.
    So, how can this be?
In production and contractual terms, production for us is around the corner. Deals need to be getting done. Our sc6 output should be sold out. Our carbonate should be getting discussed now.... Yet we are still only at 50% and still tied to the pll deal???
Im not sure what everyone's thinking, but the only explanation I can come up with is we must in very advanced off take talks, that are of huge signifance. They are so hush hush that news flow from the company is non existant , for fear of a leak. And it could mean that the remaining 50% of our output is spoken for, plus options for carbonate and/or hydroxide.
Now there are a couple of eV manufacturers that come to mind.
Ford, due to their massive requirements, proximity to NAL, and acknowledgment by Sayona themselves, of Ford's future hunger for enormous amounts of lithium.
But the greater chance here is Tesla.
Once again, massive requirements for lithium, proximity to our facilities, but more importantly, an existing connexion, pathway and relationship with their board. We already have half our supply, via pll, destined for them anyway. It would make logistical sense to just ship it all to one place..
.it would also make strategic sense. If Tesla took all our product, they would have North americas biggest resource, and only concentrator sown up. Leaving Ford, gm, etc to continue to heavily rely on foreign product. And with logistical chains stretched to breaking point with record breaking all time high charges, it would be a distinct advantage.
SO, I'm not sure if any other sayona holders have given this much thought, but it's been very quiet on the news front. Too quiet.
Downrampers, insto accumulation, capping, fud, sp going sideways for so long, it's painful.
It all spells one thing for me. Something big is coming. SB, split, verplak... We all feel it.
And the longer there is no news, the closer we are to THE news...
    GLTAH IMHO, NFA
