Nah mate they are indeed parasites....and it's BS that they add value to the market!
Shorting by it's very nature is a conflict of interest for those who lend the shorters stock!
It's Wall St and Institutions doing what they do best........sticking it to retail investors......ask yourself who are the biggest lenders of stock? Pension funds......shorters want to supress prices, any mum or dad pension who withdraws during the time of shorting activity gets screwed!
