If they want to stay solvent, they might consider covering the canopy/roof/back paddock with PVs, install batteries, upgrade their grid connection & get charging bays happening, and * just * change the fuel they sell.
* Some capital investment required!
If they can still entice people to stop at the shop, they may hold onto their living.
My impression is they make most of their margin from the shop sales.
Though with competition from Tesla supercharger network, Govt and other private companies investing in the space, survival will be tough.
Maybe combine it with a hand carwash/detailing service for extra enticement.
But what would I know, it's been a coupe of years since I've used them since getting my Model 3!
