I see you have been a lot more flamboyant with your posting Badfella.

On one hand you complain about Zip not being able to turn a profit and then you complain about Zip charging a monthly admin fee.

These admin fees yield Zip millions of dollars to the bottom line so not sure the relevance of your contradiction here.

Do you complain that you have to pay monthly account keeping fees? or interest stretching to 25 years on a home loan? Or credit card annual fees? Or credit card interest at average (14%), etc, etc.

It’s simple with Zip, If you pay your purchase in full within the month then this fee does not apply, if not then it does (Ultimately, it gives the purchaser using this service more flexibility to either bring their balance up to date or defer it with that monthly admin fee until such time as the balance can be brought up to date). The purchaser may also decide that they are comfortable stretching out the debt while paying that admin fee.

This very fee you complain about becomes very profitable when you marginalise it using (time over balance) - But you’re to stupid to understand applied business.

This in my view is a diversified revenue model VS other BNPL’s who solely rely only on merchant fees.
